We received the second part of the sheet donation today are blown away by the fun characters and patterns! We are so appreciative of this continual partnership and grateful for your support. These bedsheets truly transform patient rooms into a more fun, personalized environment. It is always fun to surprise patients with new bed decor when they come back to their room after a procedure or medical task. Likewise, giving patients options to choose from offers independent decision making, which we try to grant patients whenever possible

He had just finished building a "Platypus Car" out of Legos earlier that morning and when he saw the Perry the Platypus Sheets he just had to have them... This morning, while we were at the hospital getting Marley's counts checked (they look GREAT by the way), this special delivery was dropped off for us!

Sheets from home is an awesome organization that provides comfy sheets to kids with extended hospital stays. The sheets help brighten up the hospital room and make it feel a bit more like home while you are there. We are so grateful this organization reached out to us and can't wait to bust these out next week!

YNHCH Loves SHEETS FROM HOME!

The sheets for patients of all ages are used on our Oncology & Neurology Units. Patients and parents love that the sheets make them feel at home away from home!  Staff loves being able to provide a bright and colorful place for patients to stay when going through a difficult hospital stay.

Kids of all ages LOVE that they get to choose fun sheets for their bed and families are so overwhelmed when they are told they can take the sheets home at the end of their hospitalization!

 

We are all so grateful for sheets from home and can’t thank you enough for thinking of us.

It brought a smile to our faces when we seen this. It was an assurance that things were going to work out here at PMCH and that someone thought of her to bring brand new sheets. Thanks again."

On behalf of the oncology and ICU patients and families we would like to thank you for your incredibly generous donation of cozy sheets and blankets.  ...  I wish you were there to see smiles and looks of excitement on the faces of the patients, families, and staff as we rolled the three large carts piled high with the sheets...  Every patient was able to receive a set of sheets thanks to you.

 

In one room there was a 6 year old girl who has had a tough, lengthy admission over the past few months.  She was wearing a Princess Sophia shirt and her face lit up when she saw the sheets with Princes Sophia that were for her.  She hugged them tightly to her chest and asked her mom to put them on her bed right away!

 

Many of the families immediately put their sheets on their beds and were overjoyed that their rooms felt "more like home".  The teenagers had a ball choosing their favorite color and pattern. The NE Patriots sheet set was a huge hit and went to the biggest Pats fan :) He was over the moon!

 

Thank you for sharing your time, stories and kindness with us.  We can't express in words what this donation meant to our patients and families.  It was so special meeting you all.
